We loved that there isn’t a time limit so you can stay as long or as short as you want. Plus if you have a friend that doesn’t want to skate but still wants to hang out, that’s free if they don’t come on the ice. There are snacks and drinks at the skate rentals as well. The McAdenville Christmas Town started in 1956 so it’s more than a tradition in the area.

After the parade, watch teams compete in the Merry Main Street Tricycle Race. The Novant Health Thanksgiving Eve Parade is a tradition that dates back over 70 years. Gastonia Christmas Parade
The parade starts at Blythe Landing, then goes to Ramsey Creek Park, and then to the Duke Energy Explorium. Each of the parks will be open until 30 minutes after the parade has passed each location. At the Energy Explorium, enjoy food trucks and Santa!
